Romanian Children’s Relief is a very small organization with a very big vision.

Romanian Children’s Relief was founded in 1993 by me, Jacqueline Ramsey, after a short term mission trip to Arad, Romania. With that first visit began a journey that may consume the remainder of my earthly days.

Before moving to Romania, I was involved in different areas of aerospace electronics, holding responsible positions in several companies over the years.  My place, I assumed, was to support the church body at home and help send out others.  In July of 1993 my pastors invited me to come along on their trip to Arad, Romania.  I returned to Arad in October to clarify the vision God had given me in July.  Over the next four years, I would return often.  Finally, in the summer of 1997 I moved to Romania permanently. My vision statement, written during my second trip to Romania in 1993, was that God would use me to take Romania from a land of poverty and oppression to a land of prosperity and joy.
