Here's how you can help:

Romanian’s Children’s Relief is a work that is related to three churches in the United States.  My home church is the Dwelling Place in Loveland Ohio, where I am an associate pastor serving in Romania.  I am also related to a church in CA, Covenant Family Church in Redlands. The third church, First Presbyterian in Vincennes Indiana, is where the donations for Romanian Children's Relief are now handled. This is a change that was made early this year for the administration of Romanian Children's Relief.  George Ford is a good friend and supporter of this work, as well as the pastor of that church, and has years of experience in handling the administration of non-profit organizations. I am very blessed with his knowledge, experience and assistance!

Donations for any of the projects, as well as funds for my personal support should now be sent to Indiana.  If a donation is not noted as going toward any specific project, or for me personally, it is placed in the General Fund. I utilize these funds wherever the greatest need may be.  All donations are tax deductible under the 501c of the First Presbyterian Church in Vincennes Indiana. Tax receipts are sent out at the beginning of each calendar year.  Checks should be payable to First presbyterian Church and mailed to

I am careful not to mix funds so if a donation is annotated it will go to the correct project.

Orphan Sponsor Program –currently only about half of the children in the four facilities are sponsored.  To sponsor a child it is $25 per month. This can be sent monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly – whichever is most convenient.  We send a bi-annual update of the child you sponsor, including a new photograph.

Widow’s Mite project – a full sponsorship is $50 per month or a half sponsorship for $25.  Currently the bulk of the funds result from one time or periodic gifts.  We continue to add people to the program and provide for them before finding sponsors. It truly is like the biblical loaves and fishes!   His Lambs, a ministry in Alabama directed by Betsy Keyton, has been the primary supporter of this work. We take 10% of the total donations received for Widow's Mite and give them to a Pastor in the judet of Timis. He helps at an old people's home that houses 140 people.

School/Community Center - in Sanicolaul Mic – the renovations are now nearing completion and the center is open. We have installed a small kitchen for the use of our cooking and nutrition class. In addition to the cooking class we now offer music classes,  English as well as a Friday afternoon Kid's Klub. This Kid's Klub is very well attended, it is like a VBS.  The plans call for an addition of a computer class in the Fall/Winter. The monthly ongoing expenses  are approximately $625 per month.

Project Camp Hope -  This project is currently building a children’s playground at Minis, 25Km outside of Arad.  This camp is run by the directors of Fantanele Orphanage to help provide for the children at that facility.  After the playground is complete the plan is to help fund and build dormitories that will be utilized not only by handicapped children but also to host camps for street children.  This year we are housing the children in tents. The playground is due to be completed by July 29, 2007. All of the play equipment will not be in place this year due to the changes in legistation since Romania joined the EU Jan. 1, 2007. The cost of such things as a play-center, slides, and swings has quadrupled.

General Fund –Currently this is covering the expenses of  repair of the church buildings, food distributions to poor families as well as supplementing the school expenses and Project Camp Hope.

In the last two years the dollar has lost approximately 45% of it's spending power here. This is a combination of the softening of the dollar and the inflation here.
