The Community Center in Sanicolaul Mic, Arad, has been an ever-evolving project.  Previously it has served as a school for children who were not integrated into the normal schools in the area.  Romania has begun State programs that now help meet this need, as well as providing  some tutoring programs to assist children that require additional help with their school work.  We were closed for several months for renovations but have recently reopened. We now provide an English class, music classes, a cooking and nutrition class as well as a Kid's Klub. This club is well attended and is like a VBS. In the fall we hope to be able to add a basic computer skills class and have a part-time social worker on staff to help with obtaining and/or renewing documents such as identity papers and birth certificates.
