The Soteria is a Christian medical clinic here in Arad. It is where I take our ladies in the Widow's Mite program as well as my own grandchildren.  Many missionaries depend on the good medical care available there.

 

This clinic has recently lost their sponsorship for the medicines they provide free of charge. When you are seen by the doctor and require a prescription, all the medicines are there at their pharmacy. A very small charge is included in the clinic fee.  This covers the overhead of the pharmacy only.

 

If new sponsors are not found soon the pharmacy will have to close.  There are many people, foundations and churches that have connections with doctors or pharmaceutical houses that may want to help.  This clinic serves over 6000 people. The doctors make house calls and often do not charge for tests or visits for those who can not afford it.
